NORWAY SPRUCE: The traditional Christmas tree which we all remember with nostalgia from our childhood - Green/Yellow green. It is still the most popular tree though it is losing popularity because it can drop its needles.

If the tree is fresh and kept in water this problem can be reduced and almost eliminated.

Our Norway Spruce trees have been sheared regularly and become dense and bushy, making most attractive trees. They are also harvested at the last possible minute to ensure that they are fresh and minimise needle drop.

'.....we've never seen such a huge selection of Christmas Trees!'

NORDMANN FIR: Similar to the Noble Fir in growth habit and needle retention, but much more green in colour.
Trees NOBLE FIR: Becoming increasingly popular because of its excellent needle retention. Has a blue tinge and distinctive growth habit. All its needles are swept upwards and forwards giving a rich texture. Produces a lovely pine scent when touched.

A warm welcome awaits when you come and choose your own Christmas Tree

Fraser Fir FRASER FIR: Often referred to as the "Rolls Royce" of Christmas trees, fragrant and deep green in colour. It has an almost perfect natural shape which we improve by careful pruning from a young age. The branches are thick and sturdy to support the heaviest of ornaments and the needles short, soft and velvety.

Perfect as a Christmas tree because of its ability to retain its needles long after it has been cut and brought into the house.
